Job summary

Precision Vehicle Holdings is seeking a Shuttle Driver to join our Operations team at the Ohio Assembly Plant in Sheffield Village. You will safely operate on-site and public roadways, inspect vehicles, and maintain accurate inventory while collaborating with teammates to keep operations efficient.

Who We Are

As a Precision Vehicle Holdings company, Precision Vehicle Logistics was originally created in 2014. Precision Vehicle Logistics is focused on yard management working in partnership with labor unions. PVL offers a full range of vehicle processing services for origin facilities, destination ramps, and ports - including rail loading and unloading.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of the Operations team, you will play a crucial role in managing inbound vehicles, with a strong focus on safety. Success in this role will require the ability to thrive in a team‑oriented environment. As a Shuttle Driver, you'll be responsible for:

• Safely operating vehicles both on‑site and on public roadways.
• Conducting vehicle inspections and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Collaborating closely with team members to maintain operational efficiency.
• Flexibility to adapt to various tasks and duties as assigned by supervisors to support operational needs.

Candidate Requirements

We are seeking a self‑motivated and collaborative Shuttle Driver with at least 5 years of driving experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic along with respect for people and our policies and values.

• Strong driving skills with an exemplary level of safety awareness, quality, and compliance.
• Proficiency in operating handheld scanners and other equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Must hold a current, valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass drug screening and criminal background check.

Physical Demands of the Job:

• Work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, standard operating procedures, work instructions, procedure manuals, and policies.
• Quickly respond to safety instructions, alarms, and signals.Comfortably wear personal protective equipment.
• Frequently navigate a busy environment.
• Occasionally carry, lift, move, push, and/or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Maintain stationary positions for extended durations as needed.
• Demonstrate visual acuity and physical dexterity essential for performing the duties associated with the role.

Additional Information:

• This position requires the employee to be onsite full‑time.
• A person applying for this position must be available to work full‑time with a standard schedule of 40 hours per week, with the flexibility to work overtime, weekends, nights, or an on‑call schedule when necessary.
• As an employee, you will be responsible for retaining a valid driver's license, free from any drug or alcohol‑related driving convictions or reckless driving and always remain "insurable" while operating company owned or controlled vehicles.
