Job summary

FedEx Group is seeking personnel to perform shuttle functions, load/unload aircraft and vehicles, and sort packages. This role requires adherence to safety and training standards and the ability to operate in a busy environment.

Starting wage is provided with a schedule that includes weekday shifts. Ideal candidates can lift 50 lbs and communicate effectively in English. Must be at least 21 years old and comply with applicable regulations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Ability to work with power and hand tools. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Effectively communicate verbally in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

Requires medical exam in accordance with FHWA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.Must be licensed for type of equipment assigned.

Pay: Starting Wage: $23.21 - $33.93/hr

Additional Details: Candidate must be able to work Monday-Friday 4:30am-1:30pm.
