Job summary

Larksfield Place in Wichita, KS is seeking a Shuttle Driver / Concierge for a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The role blends resident transportation with front desk duties to ensure a warm, safe, and efficient experience for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old and valid license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation for residents and guests on campus.
• Assist residents with entering/exiting vehicle and maintain shuttle cleanliness.
• Operate front desk duties: answer calls, greet visitors, and coordinate tasks.
• Monitor safety systems, manage deliveries, and support team members as needed.

A Day in the Life

This is a dual-role position that blends transportation services with front desk concierge support.

As a Shuttle Driver:

• Provide safe, reliable, and courteous transportation for residents and guests across campus
• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the shuttle vehicle
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations

As a Concierge:

• Serve as the first point of contact for residents, guests, and staff
• Answer and direct incoming calls and communications
• Greet and assist visitors with professionalism and hospitality
• Monitor safety systems including cameras, alarms, and emergency alerts
• Coordinate work orders and assist with administrative tasks
• Handle deliveries and distribute items appropriately
• Support front desk operations and assist with training new team members

This role requires flexibility, as responsibilities shift throughout the day based on transportation needs and front desk coverage.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid Kansas driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Previous customer service, concierge, or receptionist experience preferred
• Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in a dynamic environment
