Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Batavia, IL, is seeking a driver to transport products between production plants and distribution centers. You will unload pallets with an electric pallet jack and ensure materials are staged for warehouse staff, while following DFA Quality, Safety, DOT, and GMP policies.

Responsibilities include attending driver workshops, reporting nonconformities, and maintaining clear communication with team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class A license in state of residence; tanker endorsement if needed.
• Must meet all DOT requirements.
• Meet Dairy Farmers of America Motor Vehicle Record requirements.
• English reading, writing and speaking ability required.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Transport products from the production plant to the distribution center and packaging material/ingredients from the distribution center to the production plant
• Unload the pallets using an electric pallet jack and stage them for the warehouse staff to store. Packaging materials and ingredients are usually transported by pallets, but occasionally, may hand load single items of packaging material and ingredients
• Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety, DOT, and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity and accidents and injuries
• Attend all driver workshops and training sessions

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Tractor/trailer experience, within the last five years preferred
• Must meet minimum age requirements
• Meet all DOT requirements
• Meet Dairy Farmers of America Motor Vehicle Record requirements
• Certification and/or License - Current CDL (Class A) license in state of residence; current tanker endorsement if needed
