Job summary

Dairy Challenge is seeking a professional driver to transport products from the production plant to the distribution center and to move packaging materials/ingredients back to the plant. You will unload pallets using an electric pallet jack and stage them for warehouse staff.

You must follow DFA Quality, Safety, DOT and GMP policies, attend driver workshops, and be able to read, write and speak English. Requires CDL Class A with tanker endorsement if needed and DFA MVRC/DOT compliance.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Tractor/trailer experience, within the last five years preferred
  • Must meet minimum age requirements
  • Meet all DOT requirements
  • Meet Dairy Farmers of America Motor Vehicle Record requirements
  • Certification and/or License – Current CDL (Class A) license in state of residence; tanker endorsement if needed

Responsibilities

  • Attend all driver workshops and training sessions

  • Unload the pallets using an electric pallet jack and stage them for the warehouse staff to store. Packaging materials and ingredients are usually transported by pallets, but occasionally, may hand load single items of packaging material and ingredients
