Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chicago - North Shore Conference Center in Skokie, IL seeks a friendly shuttle driver to provide prompt, safe transportation for guests and their belongings. This role emphasizes guest service, safety, and local knowledge.

Two part-time shifts (AM and PM) with benefits eligibility for full-time paths; opportunities for advancement through our Management Development Program and travel discounts. Must be 21+, have a clean driving record, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and possess a clean driving record and a valid, current and non-probationary driver's license from the state in which the property is located
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with different types of personalities
• Speak, read, write and understand English
• Schedule flexibility including weekends, and holidays
• Bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of the hotel facilities and the surrounding neighborhood to answer guest questions and make local recommendations
• Handle guest complaints, questions or requests efficiently and satisfactorily
• Ensure the van(s) are clean, in good condition and fueled at all times
• Assist in other departments of the hotel based on business demands and hotel needs

Responsibilities:

Handle all guest complaints, questions or requests efficiently and satisfactorily. Ensure the van(s) are clean, in good condition and have adequate gasoline at all times. Assist in other departments of the hotel based on business demands and hotel needs.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a hotel brand environment or similar transportation role is ideal, but willing to train the right hospitality professional looking to grow their career. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment!
• Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a clean driving record and a valid, current and non-probationary driver's license from the state in which the property is located
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with different types of personalities
• Have sound judgment and discretional skills and be able to work with little supervision
• Speak, read, write and understand English
• Schedule flexibility including weekends, and holidays
• Bilingual is a plus

$17.00 per hour
