Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality through Hotel Flor Tampa Downtown, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is seeking a friendly Shuttle Driver to join our Guest Services team. You will greet guests, assist with bags, and provide local-area guidance to create a memorable visit at our 210-room downtown hotel.

You will be knowledgeable about the local area and traffic patterns, opening doors and ensuring a smooth ride while delivering warm, personalized service to guests from arrival through departure.

Responsibilities

• Help guests discover their “Wanderlust” experience
• Provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interest
• Interacts with all guests
• The Shuttle Driver will welcome all guests to his vehicle, opening doors as needed and assisting with any bags
• You will be knowledgeable of the local area and the traffic patterns and directions to commonly visited attractions/restaurants
• You will offer up recommendations of other areas of interest
• You will maintain the cleanliness and operation of the shuttle, reporting any problems that need attention to the manager
• You will assist guests in securing other forms of transportation as needed
• You will be working together with other attendants to ensure each guest has a personalized experience and will “dive" to open the door for all guests
• Assist lobby attendant in keeping entrance area clean and organized
• "Be the difference" with all guest and employees and do more than just “the norm".

What you will have an opportunity to do:

We are looking for a highly motivated individuals to join our Guest Services team as a hotel Shuttle Driver. The ideal candidate uses their engaging personality to create a memorable first impression for our guests as they arrive for the first time and throughout their stay. In offering a warm welcome to our hotel/resort, the Shuttle Driver assists guests by providing them transportation as requested in the local area. They will serve as source of knowledge for the guest for everything about the hotel, its amenities, and the local area.
