Job summary

Propark Mobility is seeking Shuttle Drivers in Passaic, NJ for full-time and part-time roles. You will drive the shuttle, greet passengers, assist with loading, and ensure safety on every trip. Maintain vehicle condition, communicate with dispatch, and perform safety inspections at shift start and end.

Qualifications

• CDL with at least 3 years driving experience.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and 3+ years driving experience.
• Ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently.
• Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Energetic, outgoing and capable of standing, running and carrying items up to 50lbs.
• Strong written and spoken communication with a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Drives shuttle bus and transports customers to and from the facility.
• Greets passengers and provides assistance with loading and unloading.
• Operates the shuttle bus safely and complies with traffic and safety regulations.
• Monitors vehicle condition and reports malfunctions on appropriate forms.
• Communicates with dispatchers and other staff using two-way radio to coordinate routes and arrivals.
• Conducts pre/post trip inspections to ensure sound operating conditions.
• Monitors traffic and weather and notifies dispatch of potential problems.
• Reports accidents or safety situations to dispatch or supervisor.

What we're looking for:

• Drives shuttle bus and transports customers to and from the facility.


• Greets passengers and provides assistance with loading and unloading.


• Operates the shuttle bus in a safe and efficient manner and complies with all traffic and safety regulations.


• Monitors vehicle condition and records malfunctioning items or damage on appropriate forms.


• Communicates with dispatchers, drivers and other employees using a two-way radio system to communicate routes, announcing arrivals and delays, coordinating the pick-up of customers, or handling other vehicle or customer issues that arise.


• Conducts pre/post trip inspections of the shuttle buses at the beginning and end of shift to ensure sound operating conditions.


• Monitors traffic and weather conditions and notifies dispatch or supervisor of potential problems.


• Reports accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor.


• Treats all customers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.
