Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Shuttle Driver based in Buda, TX. The role involves safely operating trucks to remote dispatch sites, with potential backhaul or delivery duties and mandatory pre/post-trip inspections. Schedule is Sunday-Thursday with start times 12:00pm–3:00pm.

Compensation includes $31.65 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance, and more. Must hold CDL Class A with endorsements and be willing to work overnight.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have CDL Class A with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• 6 months commercial driving experience required.
• Doubles endorsement required and 6 months driving with doubles preferred.
• Must be comfortable working overnight.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive trucks to and from remote dispatch sites.
• May be called upon to perform duties of Backhaul or Delivery Driver.

What You Bring to the Table

• Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
• 6 months commercial driving experience required
• Doubles endorsement required AND minimum 6 months driving with doubles endorsements preferred
• Must be comfortable working overnight
• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate range for this role is between $30.00 - $31.65 per hour.
