Job summary

US Foods in Buda, TX is seeking a Shuttle Driver to safely operate trucks to and from remote dispatch sites. You may also perform Backhaul or Delivery Driver duties and must complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections. The schedule is Sunday-Thursday with start times between 12:00pm and 3:00pm.

Compensation starts at $31.65 per hour with a full benefits package and strong local leadership. Required: CDL Class A, FMCSA Clearinghouse registration, at least 6 months of commercial driving

Qualifications

• Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse as required by DOT.
• At least 21 years old with a valid CDL Class A.
• 6 months commercial driving experience; doubles endorsement preferred.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive trucks to and from remote dispatch sites.

Main Ingredients of the Job

What You Bring to the Table

• Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
• 6 months commercial driving experience required
• Doubles endorsement required AND minimum 6 months driving with doubles endorsements preferred
• Must be comfortable working overnight
• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate range for this role is between $30.00 - $31.65 per hour.
