Job summary

The Crescent Hotels Group is seeking a guest services professional to assist guests with luggage, provide airport pickup/drop-off services, and help during check-in/check-out at our Greenville, SC property. The role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to pass background inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform pick ups and drop-offs at the airport for guests in a timely and friendly manner and inspect vehicles.
• Explain all hotel facilities, their location, hours of operation, and answer questions about these facilities and other hotel services.
• Check luggage for hotel guests for day and overnight.
• Maintain the designated station in the lobby and be ready to assist front desk as needed.
• Open doors and greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bell stand, lobby and baggage room; keep lobby area tidy when not busy.
• Keep intershift logs up to date to communicate across shifts.
• Deliver messages and valet to guest rooms.
• Show guests to rooms and assist with luggage as needed.
• May perform duties of a guest room valet as required.
• Assist front desk with key inventory as needed.
• Commit to attendance and be available on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

Description

This role requires an active driver's license and frequent ability to pass motor vehicle background inspections. This role may require some or frequent lifting of guest luggage. Role responsibilities include assisting guests with luggage, performing pick-ups and drop-offs at the airport, assisting guests upon check-in and check-out and assisting with and parking as needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Perform pick ups and drop-offs at the airport for the guests in a timely and friendly manner and inspect vehicles.

2. Explain all hotel facilities, their location in the hotel, hours of operation, and answer all questions about these facilities and other hotel questions.

3. Check luggage for hotel guests both for day and overnight.

4. Maintain the designated station in the lobby, standing alert to be easily summoned for fronts.

5. Open doors and greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.

6. Maintain the cleanliness of the bell stand, lobby and baggage room. Keep lobby door and windows clean when not busy with guests.

7. Maintain an open communication line through all shifts by proper use of intershift log.

8. Deliver messages and valet to guest rooms.

9. Show guests to room assisting them with their luggage, as needed.

11. May perform the duties of a guest room valet as required.

12. Assist front desk with key inventory as needed.

13. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.

14. Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
