Job summary

Bally's in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a full-time Shuttle Driver (CDL-B) to support hotel operations and guest transport. You will drive shuttles along specified routes, greet riders, maintain a drive log, and ensure safety by complying with traffic laws and safety protocols.

A clean license, CDL-B with 6 months+ experience, and the ability to operate in all weather are required. Strong navigation of Office 365 and reliable, customer-friendly service are essential to success in this role at

Qualifications

• 1 year shuttle bus driving experience preferred.
• Ability to drive in all weather conditions and navigate Office365.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles over routes or to destinations according to schedules.
• Greet and assist shuttle passengers; ensure passenger safety.
• Maintain drive log with departure times, mileage and passenger counts.
• Report maintenance needs to hotel management promptly.
• Complete required trainings and keep vehicles fueled and ready.

Description

Essential Job Functions:

• Build guest and team member positive relations.
• Drive vehicles over specified routes or to specified destinations according to time schedules.
• Comply with all traffic laws and regulations to ensure that passengers have a smooth and safe ride.
• Greet and assist all shuttle passengers as deemed necessary.
• Assemble and inspect the required supplies, equipment and vehicle prior to departure.
• Provide for physical safety of passengers, performing such activities as providing first aid and directing emergency evacuations.
• Complete all required trainings in a timely manner.
• Wash, dry and detail the exterior of the vehicles(s) being used for tours/transportation.
• Ensure shuttle is properly fueled at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Maintain the drive log recording each shuttle time of departure, current mileage, departure location, destination location and total number of passengers.
• Ensure to report all vehicle maintenance needs to hotel management in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED, required.
• Active Commercial Drivers License B with at least 6 months experience in driving with Commercial Drivers License B.
• Must have a valid and clean state driver’s license.
• 1 year experience driving a shuttle bus, preferred.
• Possess the ability to drive in all types of weather conditions to include but not limited to snow, sleet, rain, hail, sunshine, wind and overcast.
• Ability to navigate Office365 programs successfully.
