Job summary

The Lead Dispatcher will train new hires on the POS system and safety, work with the Transportation Manager, and act as a critical communications hub during emergencies, ensuring high-quality service for guests.

Qualifications

• Prior experience organizing, prioritizing and processing information.
• Must have good multi-tasking skills.
• Must have Supervisor/Team Lead experience of 1 year.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and problem solving.
• Demonstrated good customer service skills.
• Proper phone etiquette.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Basic computer skills including MS Word and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process daily and special transportation events.
• Communicate needs within this context.
• Direct and coordinate field transportation operations as directed by Dispatch Manager.
• Respond to needs communicated via radio and land-lines.
• Work with Transportation Manager to maximize shuttle productivity.
• Train new hires on POS system, safety, and responsibilities.
• Monitor and document personnel procedures and reporting accuracy.
• Assign and dispatch appropriate vehicle equipment per event.
• Collaborate with other transportation departments to ensure timely service for guests.
• Serve as first responder during emergencies.
• Act as communication hub for management and staff during emergencies.
• Data entry of ridership and related data.
