Job summary

Delaware Park is seeking a Shuttle Driver to deliver safe, friendly transport for guests and staff. You will help create a welcoming environment, greet guests, and ensure smooth shuttle operations throughout all shifts.

You will be part of a fast-paced team, maintaining vehicle safety, following regulations, and communicating clearly with guests and coworkers. The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays and the ability to adapt to weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Prior Customer Service experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (minimum 2 years).
• Able to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Must be able to sit for an 8-hour shift.
• Must wear the assigned uniform and work in all weather elements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining, and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
• Transports guests and employees in shuttle in a safe manner, while adhering to all established rules and regulations.
• Displays prompt courteous and efficient services to patrons.
• Greet arriving and departing guests.
• Report all unsafe and/or mechanical problems of the shuttle to the Supervisor.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• Knowledgeable, actively promoting company marketing and promotional events, and proficient in answering guest questions.
• Communicate (both written and verbal) with and promote positive team members and guest relations.
• Maintain professionalism at all times when working with other team members and/or guests.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
• Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
• Promotes outstanding customer relations.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid driver’s and minimum two (2) years driving record with no points.
• Must be able to successfully complete the background check.
• Prior Customer Service experience, is required.
• Must possess the manual dexterity to safely operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Must be able to sit for at least a full eight (8)-hour shift, without difficulty.
• Must be able to wear and appear comfortable in the assigned uniform provided by Delaware Park.
• Must be able to work in all weather elements including extreme heat, cold, and precipitation.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and management is mandatory.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to handle all types of guest-related situations; relay all guest compliments and complaints to department management.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position
