Job summary

Sage Glendale Senior Living in Glendale, CA is seeking a reliable, Full-Time Shuttle Bus Driver to help our residents stay connected and safe while they travel to appointments, events, and outings.

You’ll assist residents with entering/exiting the vehicle, support mobility needs, and maintain clean, safe transportation vehicles following all safety rules. Join a team dedicated to compassionate service for seniors.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• CDL Class B with passenger endorsement preferred.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe driving.
• Friendly and patient with a genuine desire to work with seniors.
• Comfortable assisting residents with mobility or other needs.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, helpful attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide Safe Transportation: Drive residents to appointments, outings, shopping trips, community events, and other destinations.
• Support Our Residents: Assist residents getting in and out of the vehicle and provide extra support for those with mobility needs.
• Create a Great Experience: Be a friendly, patient, and helpful presence while transporting and accompanying residents.
• Care for Our Vehicles: Keep community vehicles clean, safe, and ready for each trip.
• Put Safety First: Complete routine vehicle inspections and follow all local, state, and federal driving and passenger safety requirements.
• Stay Organized: Maintain required vehicle records and documentation.
• Be Part of the Team: Support activities and other areas of the community when transportation needs allow.
