Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities is looking for a part-time Bus Driver to provide safe and friendly transportation for residents, supporting appointments, activities, and outings. The role requires assisting mobility needs, operating wheelchair lifts, and maintaining punctual routing.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years of age with a valid driver's license.
• Part-time schedule of ~20 hours per week with flexible availability.
• Strong communication and calm, helpful demeanor in a busy environment.
• Solid knowledge of the local area for efficient routing.
• Ability to use navigation tools, including electronic and paper maps.

Responsibilities

• Provide dependable transportation for residents to help them stay active and independent.
• Assist residents with mobility needs by safely operating the wheelchair lift and securing wheelchairs.
• Keep rides on time by managing requests and reducing wait times.
• Maintain a clean, safe shuttle bus through routine cleaning and inspections.
• Support the team during downtime by taking on simple maintenance or custodial tasks.

What you'll do-

• Provide dependable transportationthat helps residents stay active, engaged, and independent.
• Assistresidents with mobility needsby safelyoperatingthe wheelchair lift and securing wheelchairs.
• Keep rides running on timeby managing transportation requests and reducingwaittimes.
• Maintain a well‑kept, safe shuttle busthrough routine cleaning and scheduled inspections.
• Support the team during downtimeby taking on small maintenance or custodial tasks that keep the community running smoothly.

What we're looking for-

• Must be at least 25 years of age or older with a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and able to drive the community shuttle bus safely.
• Able to work a part-time schedule of approximately 20 hours per week, with flexible availability to meet the needs of the residents.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm and helpful in a busy environment.
• Solid knowledge of the local area is needed to plan efficient routes.
• Ability to use navigation tools, including both electronic and paper maps.
