Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to perform a full range of skilled maintenance, diagnostic, inspection and repair duties on passenger shuttle buses. The role follows a Monday-Friday schedule with ABM’s comprehensive benefits package.

You will inspect, diagnose and repair diesel-powered buses, perform preventive maintenance, test vehicles, ensure state compliance, and maintain records. ASE certifications and experience with buses or diesel engines are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Four-work experience as a mechanic or similar role preferred.
• Experience with diesel-powered buses and shuttle vehicles.
• Familiarity with DOT compliance and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, adjust and repair diesel-powered buses.
• Perform maintenance on bus fleet and road test vehicles after work.
• Inspect buses and sign forms for state compliance.
