Pay: $105k - $115k based on experience

TMS is currently looking for a Shredder Manager at our West Mifflin, PA location.

Operations Manager Responsibilities

• Manage a Mega Shredder and downstream separation system in a fast pace environment
• Will work closely with other departments to ensure operational goals are obtained
• Attends meetings with the site management team
• Oversee approximately 12 unionized employees at the site
• Documents and address safety and maintenance concerns that may arise on site
• Manages parts inventory, capital planning, and projects
• Assists maintenance management team with planning

Operations Manager Qualifications

• Preference will be given for 5-7 years of experience within an industrial setting
• Preference will be given to BA/BS degree as well as a combination of experience/education.
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills
• The candidate must also have the ability to function both effectively and independently as a member of a cross-functional team demonstrating teamwork and communication skills with a commitment to cooperation and collaboration among business functions.
• Should be proficient with Microsoft Office software including PowerPoint, Excel and Word as well as ERP software.
• Candidate should have strong oral and written skills as well as good statistical analysis skills.
