Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Cook to skillfully apply culinary techniques and help craft memorable guest experiences through warm service. You will join a dynamic team, craft dishes for guests, and uphold high kitchen standards to deliver WOW moments during their stay.

We look for 1+ year as a cook, 2+ years in a resort setting preferred, and 18+ years old. High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old.
• 2+ years experience in a similar resort setting preferred.
• 1+ year experience as a Cook preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of food products and apply culinary techniques.
• Identify and safely use kitchen equipment.
• Restock kitchen supplies and food items for service.
• Label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation.
• Maintain menu knowledge and plate presentation accuracy.
• Assist kitchen leadership and staff during service.
• Prepare bases, stocks, and soups and work as a team.
