Job summary

Ashley Furniture is looking for a Retail Warehouse Associate to manage inventory on the showroom floor, support the Visual Merchandiser with product placement, and oversee warehouse operations for customer pickup and delivery.

You will unload/load products, process receipts, and keep the warehouse clean, organized, and cost-efficient while collaborating with store teams and management.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and transport objects over 100 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Maintain reliable attendance.
• Thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load products from semi-trailers.
• Arrange showroom floor and transfer products from warehouse to floor.
• Wrap and store sold products for delivery or pickup.
• Coordinate with Visual Merchandiser to prioritize floor and inbound merchandise.
• Document product receipt and complete clerical warehouse tasks.
• Receive, distribute, and install parts for repairing floor samples as needed.
• Keep warehouse and backroom clean and organized.
• Perform building maintenance tasks and minor repairs as necessary.
• Complete the weekly warehouse checklist.
• Work to reduce store operating expenses related to warehouse functions.
• Fulfil other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
