Job summary

American Furniture Warehouse is seeking a Show Floor Staging Associate to physically place merchandise in the showroom under the direction of the Visual Designer and Store Management. You will help assemble, paint, and deconstruct displays to ensure an excellent visual presentation for customers.

You will open, assemble, inspect, and tag merchandise, use a stock picker to pull inventory from the warehouse, and restock show floor items.

Qualifications

• Ability to become certified in warehouse equipment
• Experience with hand tools
• Ability to operate RF gun
• Ability to operate forklift/order picker for stock management
• Ability to work at heights up to 35 feet

Responsibilities

• Place merchandise on showroom floor as directed by Visual Designer and Store Management
• Assemble, paint, and install displays for merchandise presentation
• Tag merchandise with price and feature info
• Pull inventory from warehouse using stock picker and restock show floor
• Inspect and tag merchandise before staging
• Coordinate transfers between stores with inventory accuracy
• Work with multiple departments to improve processes and customer service
