Job summary

CITY Furniture in Florida is seeking a Showroom Staging Associate to support the Visual Merchandising team and maintain the showroom’s appearance. You will manage product merchandising, assist with deliveries, RFID tagging, and ensure safety and cleanliness of the showroom and adjacent warehouse.

The role requires physical activity, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, travel to multiple showrooms in the region, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required from an accredited institution.
• Understanding and previous use of basic hand tools for building & maintaining furniture
• Basic understanding of lighting wiring
• One to five years of operations experience within a retail environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Showroom Product Merchandising – Assists with the transition and setup of products across all categories. Includes furniture, power motion upholstery, mattresses, rugs, lamps, chandeliers, and TVs/electronics.
• Product Receiving & Tagging – Receiving, opening, RFID tagging, and staging home accents, and assisting with the check-in of palletized products delivered to the showroom.
• Upkeep Maintenance of Showroom Exterior & Warehouse – Maintains exterior by daily sweep, removes trash, debris & palm fronds, and keeps showroom and warehouse clean.
• Upkeep the Maintenance of Product in the Showroom – Handles minor repairs, checks functionality, cleans displays, and addresses showroom issues.
• Addressing Showroom Lighting & Chandeliers – Maintenance of track lighting, bulb changes, hanging chandeliers, and correct bulb hues.
• Inventory Control – Counts received products, tags items, and reconciles weekly variances with Sales team.
