• Respond to inquiries with accurate pricing, inventory, and delivery information.
• Resolve customer concerns and inquiries.
• Make sales calls on builders, designers, architects, and other potential customers.
• Conduct face-to-face customer meetings and follow up via phone, email, and marketing.
• Update and maintain product displays and literature.
• Keep updated on current products and product trends.
• Participate in product and sales training.
• Work with other staff members to ensure great customer service from order to delivery.

The Junior Showroom Sales Assistant is the first point of contact for customers visiting New York Hardware's luxury showroom. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming experience, understanding customer needs, and guiding homeowners, designers, builders, and contractors through the early stages of the selection process.

The primary goal of this position is to help customers navigate our showroom, introduce product options, answer basic product questions, and assist with the initial decision-making process. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has an eye for design, and wants to build expertise in luxury decorative hardware, learning the craftsmanship, styles, and product offerings of more than 50 premium brands from around the world.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation:

Base hourly pay plus commission. As a full-time employee, you would be eligible for company benefits.
