Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. in Nashville is seeking a Showroom Representative to support our Overhead Door Company of Nashville showroom. You will stage materials for pickup, handle counter sales, and assist residential and commercial customers with parts and orders.

You will also develop relationships with local businesses, take measurements, and ensure accurate proposals and invoices while maintaining an organized showroom environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of related sales experience and/or training in construction building products or related industry.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Strong mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Stage materials for pick-up and delivery with installers.
• Handle counter sales and special orders for residential and commercial customers.
• Call on small businesses for parts sourcing and help develop the parts counter and wholesale business.
• Take measurements, calculate sales orders, and use office software for processing paperwork.
• Ensure all proposals are written clearly for customer approval and invoicing is accurate.
• Maintain showroom daily by stocking materials and rearranging displays.
• Process billing and perform other responsibilities as assigned.

• Work closely with our professional installers to stage materials for pick-up and delivery to job sites andhandle variousadministrative functions
• Handle counter sales, special orders, learn to answer all kinds of questions from residential and commercial customers
• Call on small businesses for parts sourcing needs and help develop the parts counter and wholesale busine
• Accurately take measurements, calculate sales orders, and use office software for processing all necessary paperwork
• Ensure all job proposals are written clearly and concisely for the customer’s approval and ensure all invoice calculations are correc\\
• Maintain showroom daily by ordering and stocking appropriate materials when necessary, rearranging displays and general housekeeping both inside and outside to ensure that showroom is maintained
• Process billing
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
