Broome + Greene in Chicago is seeking an experienced Showroom Manager to run our Chicago Merchandise Mart showroom. The role oversees day-to-day operations and executes our marketing plan as a standalone business in a top-performing location.

You will lead customer experiences, meet sales goals through business development, and analyze showroom metrics while collaborating with sales, operations and marketing to grow regional design and architectural accounts.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of furniture sales experience with proven business development skills.
• Proven analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Engaging personality, strong work ethic, and professional demeanor.
• Excellent verbal communication and phone etiquette.
• Exceptional eye for detail and ability to drive results.
• Experience with industry associations.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Ability to quickly learn product information and take ownership of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Open, maintain and manage showroom facilities and appearance, including merchandising.
• Be a brand advocate with thorough knowledge of the company and products.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience in all showroom interactions.
• Meet and exceed sales goals through outbound business development.
• Develop ideas and execute strategies to drive showroom traffic and regional design/accounts.
• Report and analyze showroom metrics.
• Assist the sales, operations and marketing teams as needed.
• Multitask and meet objectives and deadlines.
