Job summary

STARK is seeking a Showroom Logistics Representative in West Palm Beach, FL. This on-site role supports showroom merchandising, inventory tagging, sample management, and UPS/FedEx shipments to clients and other showrooms.

You will assist with deliveries, installations, and daily showroom upkeep while collaborating with Account Managers. Ideal candidates enjoy design, have strong organizational skills, and can handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 75–100 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting showroom and merchandising activities.
• Ability to handle inventory tagging and inspections.
• Comfort with light to moderate physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Visual Merchandising: maintain showroom displays, rotate products every two weeks.
• Client Presentation: flip rugs and present full-size rugs and samples.
• Showroom Maintenance: vacuum, clean floors/displays/windows, empty trash daily.
• Receiving & Processing: tag shipments, inspect and process new inventory, note damages.
• System Utilization: learn AS 4000 to update inventory and rug histories.
• Sample Logistics: organize, replenish, and distribute sample returns; request cuts.
• Inventory Control: assist in physical rug/sample inventories.
• Shipping: prepare and ship rugs/samples domestically and internationally.
• Product Transfers: move rugs to clients/showrooms.
• Client deliveries: deliver rugs to homes/businesses professionally.
• Installation Support: move furniture carefully to aid installations.
• Package Distribution: distribute daily packages to staff.

Job description

Job Title: Showroom Logistics Representative

Location: West Palm Beach, FL

Work Type: On-site/Full-Time

Job Responsibilities

Showroom & Merchandising Support

• Visual Merchandising: Help maintain and rotate showroom displays, including hanging rugs, displaying sample blankets, and rotating products every two weeks to showcase new arrivals.


• Client Presentation: Assist Account Managers by flipping rugs in piles and presenting full-size rugs and samples to clients.


• Showroom Maintenance: Perform daily showroom upkeep, including vacuuming, cleaning floors, displays, windows, and regularly emptying trash.

Inventory & Sample Management

• Receiving & Processing: Receive, identify, and tag incoming shipments (rugs and samples) from vendors. Assist in inspecting, photographing, and processing new inventory, communicating any damages or soiling.


• System Utilization: Assist the Inventory Manager by learning and utilizing the AS 4000 system to update inventory, troubleshoot rug histories/locations, and scan outgoing samples.


• Sample Logistics: Organize, replenish, and distribute sample returns to the appropriate room. Order cuttings and assist in filling incoming sample requests.


• Inventory Control: Assist the Inventory Manager in conducting physical rug and sample inventories as needed.

Logistics & Delivery

• Shipping: Pull, prepare, and ship rugs and samples via UPS, FedEx, DHL, and Common Carrier for domestic and international destinations.


• Product Transfers: Memo rugs to clients and arrange transfers to other showrooms.


• Client Deliveries: Deliver rugs and carpets to client homes or businesses with a professional and courteous demeanor.


• Installation Support: Carefully move furniture to facilitate installations, taking necessary precautions to prevent damage to property.


• Package Distribution: Distribute incoming daily packages to employees.

Job Requirements

• Must possess a pleasant demeanor, interpersonal skills, and the ability to multi-task and speak in a clear, articulate manner


• Professional demeanor and the ability to represent the company positively in client settings


• Frequently communicates with coworkers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations


• Interest in the design industry is a plus!

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift and move over 75-100 lbs regularly.


• Comfortable with physical labor, including installing carpet and moving furniture.


• Must be able to lift and flip rug piles
