Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Warehouse Showroom Associate to support daily showroom and stockroom operations, including customer support, merchandising, stocking, shipping and receiving, and inventory control.

You will maintain a clean, organized retail environment while assisting in inventory flow and records management, and ensure accurate data entry and responsive service to customers in a fast-paced retail warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Material handling equipment experience preferred.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.
• Forklift and other material handling equipment certification is required or obtainable.

Job description

Responsible for supporting daily showroom and stockroom operations, including customer support, merchandising and stocking, shipping and receiving, warehousing, order fulfillment, inventory control, and records management. Assists in maintaining a clean, organized, and customer-focused retail environment while supporting inventory flow and overall operational success.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Front of House / Showroom Merchandising (25%)
• Back of House / Stockroom Organization (20%)
• Customer Service & Support (20%)
• Heavy material handling (15%)
• Shipping & Receiving support (10%)
• Administrative support, data entry, and inventory transactions (10%)

Education Required:

High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).

Experience Required:

Previous warehouse experience. Knowledge of general warehousing, order filling, picking and packing, inventory control, and records management.

Experience Preferred:

Material handling equipment experience. Strong customer service experience. Previous merchandising and inventory management experience. Bilingual.

Licenses/Certifications Required:

Ability to obtain certification to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Skills and Abilities:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong attention to detail, and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers, coworkers, and leaders.
