Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a warehouse associate to support daily showroom and stockroom operations in a retail warehouse showroom environment.

You will assist with merchandising, stocking, shipping and receiving, and data entry while helping maintain an orderly and customer-focused space. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with diverse teams are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Knowledge of general warehousing and inventory control.
• Bilingual (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support daily showroom and stockroom operations including merchandising and stocking.
• Provide customer service and support to shoppers and colleagues.
• Assist in shipping and receiving activities and inventory transactions.
• Maintain orderly, clean, and organized work areas in a retail warehouse showroom.
• Support records management and data entry related to inventory.

Job description

Responsible for supporting daily showroom and stockroom operations, including customer support, merchandising and stocking, shipping and receiving, warehousing, order fulfillment, inventory control, and records management. Assists in maintaining a clean, organized, and customer-focused retail environment while supporting inventory flow and overall operational success.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Front of House / Showroom Merchandising (25%)

Back of House / Stockroom Organization (20%)

Customer Service & Support (20%)

Heavy material handling (15%)

Shipping & Receiving support (10%)

Administrative support, data entry, and inventory transactions (10%)

Education Required:

High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).

Experience Required:

Previous warehouse experience. Knowledge of general warehousing, order filling, picking and packing, inventory control, and records management.

Experience Preferred:

Material handling equipment experience. Strong customer service experience. Previous merchandising and inventory management experience. Bilingual.

Licenses/Certifications Required:

Ability to obtain certification to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Skills and Abilities:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong attention to detail, and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers, coworkers, and leaders.
