Plimpton & Hills Corp Inc is seeking a Kitchen & Bath Design Sales Consultant for our Stamford, Connecticut showroom at 92 Research Drive. This full-time, on-site role delivers a professional, consultative sales experience to homeowners, designers, builders, and contractors, assisting with product selection, pricing, quoting, and purchasing decisions.

You will guide customers through renovations, collaborate with architects and trades, expand product knowledge, and strive to exceed sales goals

Qualifications

• Sales experience in kitchen/bath and/or design required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively; verbally and written.
• Familiarity with industry trends.
• Result driven and customer focused.
• High School diploma; Associates degree in design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide homeowners through renovation with design assistance, product selection and purchase.
• Work with designers, architects, builders, plumbers and contractors through the project cycle.
• Determine customer needs and potential for additional sales through suggestion of related products which will enhance their experience.
• Proactively seek opportunities to obtain new customers and introduce them to the products and services that best match their needs.
• Continuously expand product knowledge to best service the customer.
• Maintain a clean, attractive showroom and keep catalogs up-to-date.
• Achieve set goals and consistently strive to exceed sales performance.
