Job summary

Carpet One Floor & Home is seeking a Retail Sales & Design Consultant to help customers choose flooring and design spaces. The role involves showroom interaction, design guidance, and driving sales outcomes in a fast-paced retail environment.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with willingness to prospect for new business and provide exceptional follow-up and service.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience preferred but not required.
• Experience assisting customers with product choices in design contexts.
• Ability to greet customers, assess needs and present solutions.

Responsibilities

• Sell flooring, granite, blinds and related services to clients.
• Greet customers on the showroom floor and determine wants and needs.
• Maintain knowledge of products, benefits, and warranties.
• Write sales orders and take space measurements.
• Provide design advice to help customers select products.
• Build client relationships and follow up after projects.
