Job summary

MillerKnoll’s Holly Hunt showroom offers a six-to-nine-month internship for those pursuing a design-related degree or with equivalent experience. You will learn the “to the trade” design industry while supporting showroom operations and client services.

Responsibilities include inventory management, memos, showroom events, and assisting sales teams. Ideal candidates have retail/showroom exposure and basic computer skills, with lifting up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates will be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a design-related field or have equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a retail or showroom environment is preferred.
• Ability to multitask.
• Some light lifting (20lbs – 30lbs max).
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Pull memos for clients in showroom and for clients who call to request mail outs.
• Manage inventory for all lines; re-order memos and brochures for all lines.
• Receive inventory.
• Assist with showroom related events.
• Assist outside sales reps on road program and inside sales reps with in-showroom appointments.
• Assist with merchandising textiles, wallcovering and leather displays in the showroom.
• Daily showroom duties: tidying textile floor area, filing memos, finishing samples and tear sheets.
