Job summary

Porcelanosa is seeking a full-time Design Consultant to join the San Francisco showroom. You will advise clients on tile, bath, and kitchen products, helping them realize their design visions while working within budgets.

You’ll stay current with design trends, maintain an organized showroom, and support order processing from proposals to delivery. The role emphasizes customer relationships and sales closing skills in a dynamic showroom setting.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in a design consulting or sales role.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with proven ability to close sales.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers in the showroom to assess design needs and recommend tile, bath, and kitchen products.
• Provide expert advice on design elements such as color, texture, lighting, and layout, while recommending products within budget.
• Keep the showroom organized and stocked and manage inventory levels and place orders as necessary.
• Stay up to date on the latest design trends and product offerings.
• Handle showroom inquiries and document customer feedback.
• Quote prices, prepare proposals, and provide information regarding sale and delivery.
• Create design plans and presentations using CAD software, with accurate pricing and product information.
• Manage order processing, modifications, and delivery coordination.
• Build customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Other duties as assigned.
