Job summary

Modern Tile in Utah is seeking a Tile and Stone Showroom Sales & Design Consultant to help customers select tile and natural stone products, assist with project tracking, and collaborate with home builders, designers, and architects.

You will prepare samples, label and display new products, organize literature, and keep the showroom inviting while supporting sales reps. Strong communication and interior design exposure preferred; reading floor plans and takeoffs are a plus.

Qualifications

• Goal-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Interior design experience or floor covering background preferred.
• Ability to read floor plans and perform limited takeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Assist and advise customers in selecting tile and natural stone products.
• Track and follow up on projects with clients.
• Collaborate with home builders, designers, and architects.
• Prepare samples, label and display new product in showroom; maintain and decorate showroom.
• Order and organize literature, samples and sample boards; assist sales reps and handle some clerical tasks.

Qualifications

Interested candidates should be goal oriented individuals with excellent communications skills and a strong desire to succeed. Ideal candidates will possess interior design experience and/or floor covering experience, be able to read floor plans and do limited takeoffs.
