Job summary

SBHonline in Ocean, New Jersey, is seeking a Welcoming Showroom Assistant to greet clients, assist our design team, and keep daily operations running smoothly. This on-site role offers flexible full-time or part-time hours and a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience.

The successful candidate will maintain showroom presentation, support designers with scheduling, manage samples, and coordinate with vendors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail/showroom or customer service preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication with a client-focused attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard office software.
• Interest in interior design or home improvement.
• On-site work at Ocean, NJ showroom.

Responsibilities

• Welcome showroom visitors, answer incoming calls, and respond to client inquiries.
• Assist clients with initial walk-ins, introducing them to our products and services.
• Maintain showroom presentation, ensuring samples and displays are clean, organized, and up to date.
• Support designers with administrative tasks, client scheduling, and sample management.
• Coordinate sample orders and deliveries with vendors and sales representatives.
• Manage general office tasks, including filing, inventory tracking, and client correspondence.
