Job summary

STARK is seeking an Account Associate for our Denver showroom to embark on a path toward sales excellence. The role includes a structured training period and ramp-up to direct sales, with front desk coverage and strong client service at the showroom.

You will support Account Managers, engage with retail and trade clients, and craft client-centric marketing plans while expanding your product knowledge and industry insights. The position promises growth within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Interest in interior design trade and strong communication skills.
• Experience in design industry preferred.
• Associate or BA/BS degree in Interior Design or related field, and/or minimum 2 years retail or to-the-trade sales.
• Acceptable score on Sales Assessment

Responsibilities

• Engage in a comprehensive training program to build sales techniques, product knowledge, and client service.
• Provide front desk service to enhance client experience and support Account Managers.
• Engage with retail and trade clients in the showroom to drive sales.
• Develop client-centric marketing plans and visit strategies.
• Cold call potential clients and prepare pre/post-visit reports and analyses for senior management.
• Prepare sales documents and assist with layouts for installation from design perspective.
• Grow client base to meet sales goals and uphold Core Values.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to learn new skills and support pre-sale tasks.
• Cover showroom locations as needed.
