J. Blanton Plumbing is seeking a skilled Bathroom Remodeling Installer to join its growing shower remodeling division in the Chicagoland area. This role leverages strong plumbing and carpentry knowledge to lead installation projects with high quality and safety standards.

You will read blueprints, install shower walls, repair plumbing, and ensure precise drywall work and finish carpentry. Collaboration with the Project Manager and direct communication with clients is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with bathroom remodeling and residential plumbing systems.
• At least 5 years of carpentry and remodeling experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with plumbing and carpentry tools and equipment.
• Apprenticeship sponsorship is available for licensing path.

Responsibilities

• Walk through the job with Project Manager and customer, completing pre-installation tasks.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply and drainage.
• Diagnose leaks and perform fixture replacements as needed.
• Build/repair walls, patch drywall, and apply paint finishes for remodeling projects.
• Install shower wall systems and LVP flooring where required.
• Read blueprints and technical diagrams; install vanities and fixtures.
• Collaborate with team to complete projects safely and efficiently.
• Maintain clean, organized sites and professional client communication.
