Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas is seeking an experienced Painter to perform maintenance and repairs across the property. You will prepare surfaces, apply paint and wall coverings, texture and patch as needed, and operate spray equipment with safety in mind.

The role requires 3+ years in a similar setting, a high school diploma or equivalent, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Starting pay is competitive and the team supports ongoing development within hospitality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of prior relevant experience (hospitality or similar environment).
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair work on painted and papered surfaces across the property.
• Operate power/hand tools and spray equipment to complete tasks.
• Prepare surfaces, paint, install wall coverings, and apply textures as needed.
• Work with minimal supervision and complete assigned jobs promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of current painting techniques and safety practices.
• Notify supervisor of unusual conditions and understand the property's layout.
