Job summary

Westgate Resorts in Las Vegas is seeking a maintenance painter/handyman to wallpaper, paint, and repair drywall across hotel properties. You will operate spray equipment, ladders and hand tools to refresh walls, ceilings and furniture finishes while following safety standards.

The role requires good physical stamina, basic math to estimate supplies, and the ability to read and follow instructions. You will coordinate with supervisors and maintain records of work performed to support hotel

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively deal with internal/external customers, with patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger and solve concerns.
• Ability to act independently.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to complete work orders and communicate with supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Operate painting equipment (brushes, rollers, spray) and perform drywall repair and wallpapering as assigned.
• Maintain, operate and repair work projects and provide progress data to supervisors.
• Prepare reports of operations and maintenance activities for standardization and review.
• Climb ladders and use lifts at heights and move materials safely per instructions.
