Bear Real Estate Group is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety across our multi-housing communities in Milwaukee. The role emphasizes groundskeeping, janitorial tasks for common areas, and turnover cleaning to keep apartments show-ready.

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday; full-time on-site position with competitive benefits. Responsibilities include litter removal, exterior upkeep, interior cleaning of clubhouses and laundry rooms, and coordination with the Property Manager for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• 0–2 years of general maintenance or trade experience.
• Willingness to learn and follow guidance from senior maintenance staff.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

• Pick up litter and debris daily and keep exterior areas clean and presentable.
• Maintain curb appeal and report hazards; assist with seasonal upkeep.
• Assist with light landscaping and coordinate with vendors via Property Manager.
• Clean interior common areas and vacant units; stock restrooms per site standards.
• Perform show-ready touch-ups and communicate unit readiness to management.
• Document deficiencies and report damages or supply needs promptly.
• Support seasonal tasks such as snow/ice response and exterior cleanup.
