Job summary

Mubea, a global automotive supplier, seeks a Shotpeen Machine Operator for the Coil Springs unit. You will handle robots, shotpeen machines, hot/cold set devices and related equipment, performing changeovers and troubleshooting to keep production moving.

You will read and follow job documentation, measure parts to 0.1 mm, and coordinate with the team to ensure quality. This hands-on role requires physical work, steady attention to detail and a willingness to learn across processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and understand job documentation.
• Physical coordination to lift and move product.
• Trainable with forklift truck.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Written and oral communication with attention to detail.
• Math ability including conversions (English & Metric).
• Ability to read measuring devices to 0.1mm.
• Understand machine computer functions.
• Trainable with CNC, PLC controls and SPC documentation.
• Load material, perform changeovers, adjust during production and tooling changes.

A Shotpeen Machine Operator is responsible for a large amount of tasks and equipment in the Coil Springs business unit. This includes working with robots, on the oven, on the shotpeen machine, secondary peening and both hotset and coldest equipment. This position has a lot of diversity in the position and a lot of troubleshooting issues that you will need to learn to resolve.

• Ability to make a rough fault analysis
