Job summary

Mubea, a global automotive supplier, is hiring a Mill Operator in Florence, KY. You will run the mill to adjust coil thickness per customer specs, load and unload coils, and prepare for the next process.

Expect crane operation, use of SAP and Excel, and cross-functional teamwork in a heavy manufacturing setting. The role requires shift work, physical fitness, and the ability to read and interpret technical docs, blueprints, and job orders.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and understand job documentation.
• Math ability including unit conversions (English & Metric).
• Ability to interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders.
• Knowledge of how to handle coils and load/feed material into rolling mill.

Responsibilities

• Operate the rolling mill to adjust coil thickness per customer specs.
• Load and unload coils; band the mill for the next process.
• Oversee loading, running, unloading and changeovers during production.
• Use crane to move materials and load equipment.
• Possess basic PLC understanding for machine functions.

As a Mill Operator you will be in charge of running the mill that changes the thickness of the coils based on the customer’s specifications.
