Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. in Broken Arrow, OK is seeking a Part-Time Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment while delivering friendly customer service at the entrance and throughout the store.

You will monitor for theft opportunities, greet customers with confidence, report incidents to the Manager on Duty, and support training of associates in shortage reduction programs. Base pay is $12.00 per hour with associate discount and benefits for eligible part-time

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Confidentiality required
• Ability to review, analyze and comprehend business trends
• Positive demeanor, strong posture, energetic greeting
• Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with disciplined decision making
• Excellent communication with customers and co-workers
• Excellent leadership skills to foster productive relationships

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances and high-risk areas to reduce theft opportunities.
• Greet every customer with a warm, loud, friendly greeting and promote a sense of control and security.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
• Assist in training associates on shortage reduction programs and processes.
