Working across a portfolio of recognized consumer brands and leading national retailers, this individual will develop account-specific activation strategies that connect the consumer journey across stores, ecommerce, retail media and emerging commerce channels.

This is an ideal opportunity for a commercially minded marketer who understands how consumers become shoppers—and how strong collaboration among Brand Marketing, Sales, Creative, Category Management and retail partners turns insight into measurable results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute shopper-marketing strategies for priority retail accounts, ensuring alignment with brand objectives, retailer priorities and commercial goals.
  • Translate consumer, shopper, category and retailer insights into differentiated activation plans.
  • Build integrated programs across in-store, ecommerce, digital shelf, retail media, sampling, promotions and seasonal events.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Brand Marketing to develop account-specific programs that strengthen retailer relationships and accelerate growth.
  • Lead the shopper-marketing calendar, coordinating launches, promotional periods and retailer-specific initiatives.
  • Create persuasive, insight-led materials for retailer meetings, line reviews, joint business planning and internal presentations.
  • Collaborate with Creative and agency partners to develop high-impact assets that remain consistent with brand identity while meeting retailer requirements.
  • Manage program budgets, timelines, agency relationships and executional details across multiple brands and accounts.
  • Establish clear performance measures and evaluate program effectiveness using sales, media, shopper and promotional data.
  • Identify opportunities to improve conversion, household penetration, basket size and return on marketing investment.
  • Monitor evolving shopper behaviors, competitive activity, retail-media capabilities and beauty-industry trends.
  • Bring structure, consistency and best practices to a growing shopper-marketing capability.
Qualifications
  • Approximately 5–7 years of experience in shopper marketing, customer marketing, commerce marketing, retail activation or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience within beauty, personal care, wellness, CPG or another consumer-focused category strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success developing integrated retailer programs across physical and digital channels.
  • Strong understanding of the path to purchase, retail media, ecommerce and account-specific activation.
  • Experience working with major national retailers; exposure to beauty, mass, drug, specialty or ecommerce channels is particularly relevant.
  • Ability to turn data and insights into clear strategies, compelling stories and executable programs.
  • Strong commercial instincts and an appreciation for the needs of both brands and retail partners.
  • Highly collaborative style with the ability to influence across Sales, Marketing, Creative, Finance and external agencies.
  • Excellent project-management, presentation and communication skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple brands, retailers and deadlines in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
