FOX in New York is seeking a writer to help keep our commerce content library current, accurate, and compelling. You will produce 6-10 shoppable content pieces weekly, updating product pricing and information, while conducting interviews to enrich buyers guides and pros and cons.

You’ll stay on top of product launches, test new items, and compare trends with competitors to ensure readers get the best recommendations.

Qualifications

An obsessive interest in products and shopping—be the go-to shopping advisor
At least 2 years' digital experience in journalism or affiliate commerce with SEO
Ability to work under deadline-driven, fast-paced newsroom conditions
Daily experience with a CMS; WordPress familiarity preferred
Proven track record of revenue-driving articles (deals-centric and evergreen)
Passionate about service journalism and delivering high-quality content
Skilled in using data and reporting tools to inform editorial ideas

Responsibilities

Write and produce 6-10 shoppable content roundups and breakout articles per week.
Ensure content library has up-to-date pricing and product information.
Research and write supplemental commerce content, including buyers guides.
Research new products and trends and compare with competitors.
Track new product launches to keep content current; help test/review.
Pitch new content ideas.
Analyze market trends to identify top product recommendations.
Thoroughly price-check each article before publish and before republishes.
