Job summary

Fox Corporation's FOX News Deals team seeks a shopping-obsessed writer with expertise in tech and home products. You will research, pitch and write multiple articles for FOX properties, including Fox News and FOX Weather.

This role covers tentpole events like Prime Day and Black Friday, requires fast, accurate writing, SEO best practices, and collaboration with partnerships to maximize revenue. Strong editing, time management and an eye for detail are essential.

Qualifications

3+ years of writing experience including writing samples illustrating commerce coverage across verticals.
Daily experience working within a CMS (WordPress preferred).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including knowledge of AP style.
Excellent time management and prioritization skills, meticulous and consistent follow up.
Proven track record of executing revenue-driving articles (both deals-centric and evergreen).
Attention to detail, ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Write daily articles and evergreen stories (6-10 a week).
Research new products and trends and select content to make the best recommendations.
Keep up with new product launches and help test/review products.
Research and pitch content based on audience insights and seasonal trends.
Collaborate with partnerships and growth teams to optimize content for revenue.
Follow in-house style and brand safety guidelines.
Cover tentpole shopping events like Prime Day, Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Participate in editorial strategy meetings to optimize coverage and revenue.
Explore ways to grow commerce partnerships via content coverage.
