Job summary

Fox Corporation is seeking a shopping-focused writer for the Fox News Deals team to research, pitch and write deal roundups, gift guides and product reviews across FOX properties, including Fox News and FOX Weather.

You will cover tentpole shopping events, test and review new products, apply SEO tactics, and collaborate with partnerships and growth teams to maximize revenue while meeting in-house style guidelines.

Qualifications

3+ years of writing experience including commerce coverage across verticals.
Daily experience working within a CMS (WordPress preferred).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with AP style knowledge.
Excellent time management and the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Proven track record of revenue-driving articles (deals-centric and evergreen).
Familiarity with analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, Chartbeat).

Responsibilities

Write daily articles and evergreen stories (6-10 per week).
Research products, trends and competitor content to make strong reader recommendations.
Test and review new products and stay on top of launches for up-to-date content.
Pitch content based on audience insights and SEO, to maximize revenue.
Collaborate with partnerships and growth teams to optimize content for revenue.
