Job summary

Versant, powerhouse behind E! and other brands, seeks a Commerce Writer/Editor to craft engaging, revenue-focused shoppable content. You will write, edit and optimize commerce articles, pitch high-impact stories, and manage affiliate partnerships while upholding E!'s voice and standards.

You will also interview celebrities for content, manage product merchandising within articles, and collaborate with teams to maximize traffic and revenue. Hybrid role with benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a shopping, pop culture or marketing writer.
• Digitally savvy with CMS and SEO for digital & social platforms.
• Excellent copywriting with brand-appropriate voice that drives action.
• Ability to generate ideas to grow traffic and sales.
• Evenings and weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit and optimize assigned and self-pitched e-commerce articles aligned with calendars and performance.
• Pitch and develop high-intent commerce stories based on trends and affiliate performance.
• Execute paid content and other commerce partnerships while maintaining brand voice.
• Book and interview celebrities, influencers and experts for shoppable content.
• Own product selection and merchandising using commission rates and EPC to improve monetization.
• Continuously optimize content based on performance and shopping trends.
• Support affiliate operations and partner onboarding and updates.
• Build relationships with affiliate partners to surface new products and offers.
