Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams in Mason, OH is seeking a Shopkeeper Apprentice to support daily operations, scheduling, inventory, and HR tasks within a vibrant scoop shop team.

You will train under a Shopkeeper, developing leadership skills while delivering outstanding guest experiences and contributing to the shop’s success and community presence.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
• Ability to manage inventory and scheduling.
• Willingness to learn and develop leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Shopkeeper with daily store operations.
• Handle scheduling and basic payroll tasks.
• Maintain inventory levels and processing orders.
• Support HR functions including hiring, training and performance feedback.
• Provide exceptional guest service and uphold brand standards.

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is searching for a Shopkeeper Apprentice to join our upcoming Mason, OH team.

Shopkeeper Apprentices are full-time employees sharing the same responsibilities as the Shopkeeper including accounting, scheduling, inventory/ordering, and all HR functions (hiring, training, development, and performance management of all team members). This full-time position also involves working variable shifts, including opening shifts, closing shifts, and/or weekend shifts.

Shopkeeper Apprentices report directly into a Shopkeeper and can act as the second-in-command at a full shop or as first-in-command at a low volume/complexity location. Shopkeeper Apprentices undergo ongoing training and development from their Shopkeeper throughout their time in the position to best prepare them to support the shops in their market as well as for success in a future Shopkeeper position.
