We currently have a job opening for a shop position in the Jackson area that includes delivery. This full-time position includes loading, unloading, pulling and ordering job material, delivering material and small equipment to job sites, shop organization, submittals and helping workers in the field if needed.

You must be reliable, able to follow through on tasks, willing to learn, able to read, know basic math skills, follow directions, lift heavy items up to 100 lb, and have a great personality with a positive attitude. Must also be able to operate scissor lifts, telehandlers & forklifts. This position includes being able to drive a company truck with a trailer to deliver material and small equipment to job sites when needed on busy highways.

You must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a good driving record, reliable transportation to get to and from work (to shop), and have a valid CDL with experience in driving a trailer on the back of a vehicle.

This job has many learning opportunities to advance your career in the Sprinkler fitter trade if you choose to do so down the road.

Position starts at $16.00 per hour with pay increases.

Job hours vary but are generally 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a half-hour lunch break.
