Warehouse Worker /Delivery Driver - Part-time

Responsibilities include:

• Operating a company vehicle to deliver products to customers.
• Performing warehouse activities such as parts pulling, staging, and loading/stocking trucks.

Starting salary: $19/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Essential Job Duties

• Receiving labels from the supervisor for parts to be pulled for the route.
• Pulling parts from bins and preparing them for loading.
• Operating forklifts or order selectors within the warehouse.
• Loading trucks according to delivery schedules and conducting final checks.
• Sorting and placing parts on racks, shelves, or bins.
• Responding to customer counter sales, receiving orders, and loading customer vehicles.
• Verifying in-stock positions for inside sales staff.
• Driving a company box truck to deliver salvage parts.
• Loading trucks, verifying condition, and handling delivery paperwork.
• Unloading trucks at delivery destinations, verifying parts, and collecting payments if necessary.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of related warehouse experience.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to qualify for corporate vehicle insurance.
• Meet DOT testing and physical requirements and be familiar with DOT regulations.
• Be at least 21 years old.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift certification and RF scanner knowledge are a plus.

• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to follow routines and procedures.
• Decision-making within assigned areas.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Driving most of the time, with ability to sit for long periods.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Exposure to fuel, exhaust, extreme temperatures, noise, and cramped spaces.
• Use of PPE as needed.
• Extensive travel may be required.
